Battle Queens
In this project I focused on designing characters for gritty, violent, and dystopian city. The player controls a squad of Drag Queens who must work in co-operative multi-payer to defend themselves from thugs and other dangers.
My vision for this character is that they are a star that has landed on Earth. Angels, or Malachim, are androgynous creatures. I wrote 'star' (asteri) on the character's sword in Malachim script. This is the angelic script invented by Cornelius Agrippa.
Regina Blade is a 'fem queen' thief. In the Ballroom LGBT culture fem queen refers to a character who is realistically feminine looking. She is proficient with knifes and knuckles. Regina is a bit like Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland.
Vendetta Vicious is a butch queen character, this signifies a mixture of macho and fem qualities in Ballroom language. He is an archer proficient with crossbows.
